Christian Kirksey, Joe Schobert, and Jamie Collins. This linebacking group, like the defensive line, is one of the strongest suits for the Cleveland Browns. For a team that has tried to build itself through its front seven, they have certainly done well on the middle line of defense.
In 2017, the Browns mostly ran a hybrid of a two or three-linebacker set. Under new defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, the Browns were looking for uber-athletic, fast, and hard-hitting linebackers.
