Browns suspend offensive line coach Andy Moeller because of allegations team says it takes ‘very seriously’

BEREA: The Browns suspended offensive line coach Andy Moeller indefinitely on Monday.

Moeller is being investigated for allegedly assaulting a woman from Maryland who was a guest at his home in Berea, ESPN.com and Cleveland Scene Magazine reported. Police were called to Moeller’s home this past weekend, and by the time they arrived, the woman was unsure about pressing charges. Moeller was not arrested.

The case is now in the hands of the city prosecutor who’ll determine whether charges will be filed, according to the reports.

Officers at the Berea Police Department did not return voice messages or emails Monday from the Beacon Journal.
