The Cleveland Browns have not had a great start to training camp for a variety of reasons, including LB Jordan Hicks retiring, QB Kenny Pickett hurting his hamstring, and a lot of passes hitting the ground amongst the quarterback competition. The Browns defense was expected to carry the team, but the linebacker corps has injuries and Hicks’ departure is impacting them greatly.
A new contender has emerged at defensive end across from Myles Garrett, while the secondary is full of talent but needs a bounce-back season from Martin Emerson Jr.
