BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns punt return unit had the play made on Sunday afternoon against Green Bay. The Packers were lined up to kick the ball away on their first drive of the game, facing a fourth-and-2 at their own 46-yard line. Instead, the snap went directly to Jermaine Whitehead, who ran to his left.
Defensive back Darius Hillary was right there waiting for him, but Whitehead used a stiffarm to get Hillary out of the way and pick up a first down.
"It was right there for a 2-yard loss," special teams coordinator Chris Tabor said on Friday.
