The Cleveland Browns signed WR C.J. Board to the practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team placed WR on practice squad/injured.
Board, 6-0, 181 pounds, was originally signed by the Baltimore Ravens an undrafted free agent earlier this year, but was waived during final roster cuts. Most recently, he spent time as a member of the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad.
A Clarksville, Tenn. native, Board played collegiately at Tennessee-Chattanooga, where he appeared in 51 games (47 starts) over his four-year career. His career numbers of 2,032 receiving yards on 146 receptions rank fifth and sixth in program history, respectively.
