The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they’ve signed RB Brandon Wilds to a contract and placed RB George Atkinson III on waivers.
Wilds, 24, wound up signing on with the Falcons as undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in May of last year. He was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and the Falcons eventually cut him from injured reserve with a settlement.
The Jets later signed him to their practice squad and he finished out the year in New York. Unfortunately, the Jets waive Wilds on Thursday.
