CLEVELAND — Just because NFL players have been released for the summer, doesn’t mean all work stops for NFL teams.
On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns made a move to bolster their roster ahead of training camp, signing former No. 2 overall pick, offensive tackle Greg Robinson. In a subsequent move, the Browns waived OL Rod Johnson.
Robinson was drafted out of Auburn by the Rams in the 2014 and spent three seasons there before being traded to the Detroit Lions ahead of the 2017 campaign. He’s started 48 of the 52 career games he’s played, including six last year for Detroit.
