The NFL playoffs may be preceding once again without the Cleveland Browns, but that does not mean the team is sitting idly by waiting for the new league year to begin.
On Tuesday, the club signed defensive lineman Collin Bevins to a reserve/futures contract.
The team announced the move on its website.
Bevins spent a few weeks in May with the Arizona Cardinals after signing with the NFC West Division team as an undrafted free agent. At the time he was also drawing interest from the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs, according to The Maryville Forum.
