Browns outside linebacker Nate Orchard left Miami in a walking boot and landed on injured reserve less than a week later.
The Browns announced Saturday they placed Orchard on IR with the left high-ankle sprain he suffered last weekend in a 30-24 overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. He will miss at least eight games.
To make matters worse at the position, outside linebacker Corey Lemonier is dealing with a personal matter that will likely keep him from playing when the Browns (0-3) face Washington (1-2) beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday at FedExField.
