CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Are the rumors about Jimmy Haslam's interest in Peyton Manning true?
CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora reported Sunday morning that Haslam's interest in Manning as a team president or top executive is "very strong and sincere.''
And although Manning has expressed interest in joining a team at some point, a league source with knowledge of the situation tells cleveland.com that the report is untrue.
Other league insiders say there's nothing to the flurry of rumors surrounding Haslam's pursuit of the future Hall of Fame quarterback,, including that Manning has already been looking for houses in the Cleveland area.
