Browns place Morgan Burnett on injured reserve

The Cleveland Browns placed safety Morgan Burnett on injured reserve Tuesday with an Achilles injury

Burnett was injured during the second quarter of Cleveland’s 21-7 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.

The Browns signed Burnett as a free agent in April after spent the 2018 season with the Steelers. Originally a third-round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, Burnett made 102 starts in eight seasons with Green Bay, compiling 717 tackles, 7.5 sacks and nine interceptions.
