The Cleveland Browns officially activated WR Josh Gordon from the Exempt/Commissioner Permission list on Thursday, which paves the way for him returning for the team’s Week 13 game.
The Browns also waived DB Justin Currie in a corresponding move.
Cleveland was expected to activate Gordon later on in the week, and Browns HC Hue Jackson has made it clear that they plan on getting him heavily involved this weekend, so this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
Gordon, 26, is a former second-round supplemental pick of the Browns back in 2012.
