CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns lost, 38-24, to the Lions on Sunday, but there were stretches where, believe it or not, they looked like a team poised to finally win their first game. One such stretch was early in the game when the defense dominated and the offense went up 10-0.
Another such stretch came in the third quarter. The Browns opened the second half trailing 17-10. Most weeks, that would have been about it. Instead, they managed to come back and take the lead, scoring on their first two drives of the half.
The first drive covered 85 yards in eight plays over 3:59.
