CLEVELAND — After a week of big changes and new faces, the Browns were this close to earning their first win of 2017.
Instead, Cleveland stumbled late and fell to the Packers, 27-21, in overtime Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Despite dominating much of the game and leading by as many as 14 points, Cleveland was unable to withstand a late Green Bay rally that ended when quarterback Brett Hundley tossed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams with 5:05 left in the extra period.
Sunday’s setback marked Cleveland’s 28th loss in 29 games and spoiled what was an otherwise promising showing by a young team.
