Get used to seeing a lot of roster moves this season related to the reserve/COVID list. On Monday, the Cleveland Browns announced the following four roster moves:
- QB Garrett Gilbert has been placed n the reserve/COVID-19 list.
- S Karl Joseph will begin camp on the Active/PUP list with a foot injury. This is the same list that WR Jarvis Landry is on.
The Browns’ roster now sits at 79 players.
Gillan had COVID-19 in early-to-mid-July, so it’s not a surprise to see him removed from the reserve list so quickly.
