BEREA, Ohio -- Looking for a word to describe new Browns wide receiver Sammie Coates?
"Fast," said cornerback Jamar Taylor.
"A guy that can run fast," head coach Hue Jackson said. "I think you guys know I like guys that can run and run fast and make plays down the field."
They aren't kidding, either. Coates ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the combine in 2015. Last season, when he caught the ball for Pittsburgh, it was for big chunks. He averaged 20.7 yards per reception. Football Outsiders classified 41 percent of his catches as bombs, passes thrown to receivers 26-yards plus down the field.
