Browns Have Had ‘Serious Talks’ with Former Steelers OC Todd Haley to Come to Cleveland

The Browns may turn to one of their AFC North rivals for a new offensive coordinator, as Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that the Browns are chatting with former Steelers OC Todd Haley.

Mortensen says the Browns “have engaged him in serious talks” with Haley, who left the Steelers last week after his contract was not renewed.

Haley has a track record of having the Steelers at the top of the offensive rankings in the NFL, as with him as coordinator the Steelers averaged the third-most yards per play in the league.

They have also put up an awful lot of points, as in the last four years they were second in the league in points scored.
