CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Browns left tackle Joe Thomas sounded unsure about coming back following his torn triceps suffered against the Titans. ESPN's Field Yates first reported the raise and a source confirmed the deal for cleveland.com.
Thomas' new deal includes $3 million in new money, a $1.5 million roster bonus and a $1.5 million raise for next season.
Thomas had surgery two days after sustaining the injury and is on injured reserve. Prior to missing the Browns' game in London against the Vikings, Thomas had started every game in his career and, up until getting hurt against Tennessee, he had not missed a snap.
