CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns defensive line suffered a double-whammy during Sunday's 19-7 loss to the Jaguars, losing both Emmanuel Ogbah and Jamie Meder for the season.
Both defenders were placed on injured Tuesday, Ogbah with his broken right foot and Meder with a high ankle sprain.
It represents a huge blow to a defensive line that was proving to be the strength of the team.
"It's football,'' Ogbah said Monday. "Injuries happen. Guys have to step up. I feel confident that Carl (Nassib) and Nate (Orchard) can step up and do big things for us.
