CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The likelihood that the Browns will be shorthanded in their secondary on Sunday increased this morning when they elevated defensive back C.J. Smith from their practice squad. Smith is a second-year player out of North Dakota State appeared in ten games for the Eagles last season.
Defensive back Darius Hillary was waived to make room for Smith.
Cornerback Jamar Taylor is questionable for Sunday's game with a foot injury against the Ravens and cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun is doubtful with a knee injury. Boddy-Calhoun missed Sunday's game against the Packers.
