Once again, the Cleveland Browns will be starting a practice squad quarterback over a quarterback on their 53-man roster. Earlier this season, when Deshaun Watson’s status was up in the air and Dorian Thompson-Robinson struggled, PJ Walker started over both despite being on the practice squad.
Now, the roles are reversed with Walker on the active roster, along with DTR who is out for Week 13 due to a concussion, but Joe Flacco is being elevated to start at quarterback. The Browns announced the new QB’s elevation on Saturday.
