CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Browns were dialed in on the offensive line Thursday. After extending the contract of guard Joel Bitonio and signing two of the biggest offensive line prizes in free agency, the Browns claimed former 49ers center Marcus Martin off waivers.
Martin (6-foot-3, 320 pounds) was a third-round draft pick of the 49ers in 2014 and started 22 games at center over the last three seasons. He has played sparingly at both tackle spots in the NFL, and started 20 games at guard at USC.
