The Cleveland Browns have signed DB B.W. Webb to the active roster. To make room on the roster, the team placed DB (wrist) on injured reserve. Additionally, the team signed DB Trevon Hartfield to the practice squad.
Webb is 5-10, 183 pounds and in his fifth NFL season. Originally selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft, he’s also been active with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints. Webb has started 10 of 49 career regular season games, notching 61 tackles, 14 passes defensed and two interceptions.
