Browns add a new wide receiver to the mix amid injuries

The Cleveland Browns aren’t in horrible shape at the wide receiver position in terms of the numbers game. With that said, because of how quickly the team is trying to evaluate four quarterbacks at once, that means a surplus of receivers is needed too. During Thursday’s practice, the team had equipment guys running receiver roles.

The reason for that is the team is currently down two players: David Bell is still recovering from last year’s surgery, and then Michael Woods is now dealing with a hand injury. With that in mind, the Browns signed WR Winston Wright on Friday to help pad the numbers game at the position.
