Browns Acquire Quarterback Tyrod Taylor From Buffalo Bills In Exchange For 2018 Third-Round Pick

The Cleveland Browns have acquired quarterback Tyrod Taylor from the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a third-round pick, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports on Friday. The move comes shortly after Cleveland traded for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

Taylor had his best year as a pro last season, throwing for 2,799 yards and 14 touchdowns to only four interceptions. With an 8-6 record as a starter for Buffalo, he will be known as the quarterback that ended the Bills’ playoff drought. Taylor played four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and didn’t start a single game, serving as the backup to Joe Flacco as well as a trick-play specialist.
