Following a brief exile, Cleveland's favorite former quarterback and television analyst is back.
Bernie Kosar will be a part of WOIO Channel 19's "Tailgate 19" and "Sports Zone" shows on Sundays this fall, the station announced this afternoon.
The announcement comes nearly a year and a half after WKYC Channel 3 and the Browns cut Kosar as television color analyst on the club's preseason games. Kosar spent eight seasons in the role.
Kosar's return will occur Sunday on WOIO's "Tailgate 19" at 11 a.m. He will join former Browns players Bob Golic, Joe Jurevicius, and Hanford Dixon, along with former 92.
