CLEVELAND, Ohio - Sashi Brown is gone. Hue Jackson remains. The Browns fired their executive VP of football operations on Thursday, and in a statement on the move, Jimmy Haslam pointed out that Jackson will return as the team's coach in 2018.
The Browns are 0-12 this season and 1-27 since Jackson was hired in 2016. Some fans pin that record on Brown, some pin it on Jackson. Some pin it on Haslem.
But the important thing to remember is that Jackson and Haslem are staying. Brown is gone.
