With Matt Patricia coming in as the head coach, the team is expected to focus on the interior. At the combine he said he wanted to build the team starting in the middle of the defense. This draft unfolded perfectly for Detroit, and we really had to dig into the top two DTs on the board. RB was also considered, but there is a good chance we will be able to address that need in the 2nd round.
