The Cleveland Browns have dealt with nearly a year's worth of drama since drafting quarterback Johnny Manziel, who recently checked himself into rehab to help with his hard-partying antics.
Manziel's drinking issues apparently were news to owner Jimmy Haslam, who said he didn't "know how much of Johnny's personal life was known by everyone then."
If that's true, he might have been the only one.
Manzie's partying lifestyle was a major headline while he was a Texas A&M and leading up to the NFL Draft. He was actually arrested outside a bar during his redshirt season in College Station, after which he visited an alcohol counselor for nearly two months.
This has created questions about Manziel's immediate future with the team, which Haslam was quick to shoot down.
"It's way too early to give up on Johnny. We certainly haven't given up on him. Everybody's been too harsh."
