Browns News: Johnny Manziel Intends To Start In 2015, Per Joe Haden

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will need a stellar training camp to unseat Josh McCown as the starter going into 2015, but cornerback and close Manziel pal Joe Haden says that's just what Manziel intends to do.

"Oh for sure," Haden said via Cleveland.com by way of CBS Sports. "He's a competitor. I think it's all about competition. We have Josh McCown. We have Johnny. We have [Connor] Shaw. All those guys. Just all of them feel like they can win the starting job."

Following a rough introduction to the NFL life, Haden says Manziel has made strides both in studying the game and learning the ins and outs of the offense. He's also holding himself accountable for the mistakes he made this past season.

"He said he took a lot of things for granted," Haden said. "Just being able to go back there and realize that he is in the NFL. He's living his dream. He's a quarterback in the National Football League and what that entitles him. I think he understands that and I'm very happy for him."
