Clemson’s linebacking corps is led by the duo of senior Wade Woodaz and sophomore Sammy Brown – the perfect mix of veteran experience and leadership, and a talented youngster with plenty of potential.
Off the field, Woodaz and Brown have been building a strong bond. And Woodaz expects their tight-knit relationship to translate over onto the field this fall as they work together to hold things down in the middle of the Tigers’ defense.
“We got a lot tighter this offseason, so being able to bounce [things] off each other – for example, today, it felt seamless,” Woodaz said Thursday after Clemson opened camp.
