Williams on fire as Tigers pound Dallas Baptist

CLEMSON, SC – No. 11 Clemson pounded No. 10 Dallas Baptist University 12-1 Friday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. Chris Williams went 4-4 for the Tigers with four RBIs and was just a triple away from hitting for the cycle.

Jacob Hennessy pitched a gem for the Clemson going 6.1 innings and only giving up three hits and no runs with eight strikeouts. Carson Spiers, Mat Clark, Bryce Bowen and Bo Gobin finished out the game.

The Tigers jumped out to an early lead with some two out magic in the first. Patrick Cromwell singled to right.
