With the calendar turning to the month of December, that means the NET Rankings have debuted, and the Clemson basketball team is positioned well early on in the season.
The Tigers debuted at No. 34 in the initial set of rankings, but despite suffering a tough Quad 1 defeat on the road at Alabama last Wednesday, Brad Brownell’s squad made a substantial jump.
Clemson currently sits at No. 25 in the rankings, with another Quad 1 opportunity coming on Tuesday, when the Tigers face BYU in Madison Square Garden as part of the Jimmy V Classic. The overtime victory over Georgia in the Charleston Classic two weeks ago was a Quad 1 win.
