Clemson has 19 players currently committed in the 2026 recruiting class. That is already four more than the Tigers signed in the last recruiting cycle.
However, the staff is still looking to add more pieces to its class that currently ranks sixth nationally per Rivals.
So what are the remaining needs?
Clemson has yet to land a running back. Top target, four-star Jae Lamar, is set to announce on Wednesday, but odds are he winds up elsewhere. No harm in taking a big swing, as Lamar is one of the best backs in the class, but if he indeed does end up committing to another school, the staff will need to reassess and turn its attention towards another target.
