Clemson (4-5, 3-4 ACC) jumped out to an 18-0 first-half lead and held the nation’s No. 1 offense in check, en route to a 24-10 victory over Florida State (4-5, 1-5 ACC) on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.
Clemson earned its 17th all-time victory against Florida State, and the Tigers have now won nine of the last 10 meetings against the Seminoles.
Florida State still has not won consecutive games in Death Valley since the Seminoles won their first seven trips to Memorial Stadium from 1975-2001. Since that stretch, Clemson is 10-2 at home against Florida State.
