COLUMBIA — Sam Weatherly pitched as well as any Clemson pitcher has against South Carolina in the Tigers’ 7-1 victory Friday at Founders Park in Columbia.
The lefty pitched seven hit-less innings while striking out 11 batters before being pulled after the seventh inning.
