It was just a matter of time, right?
It seemed as if Deshaun Watson was has been held under wraps for much of the earlier season whether it was due to defensive scheme, weather or just inferior competition. But on Saturday, with the rain pouring once again in Death Valley, Watson was finally able to shine as he threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns in the Tigers’ 43-24 victory.
The sophomore threw touchdown passes of 29 and 8 yards while completing 19 of 28 passes.
Watson found Leggett on a wheel route in the second quarter where the tight end was wide open and walked into the end zone for the 29-yard touchdown.
