A local lineman committed elsewhere returned to Clemson on Saturday for the Auburn game.

Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman offensive tackle Jordan McFadden, who committed to Virginia Tech in July, has been to Clemson several occasions. But this visit marked his first since receiving an offer from the Tigers last month.

“It was great,” McFadden said of the visit. “I had a good time.”

McFadden (6-5, 280) competed at the Dabo Swinney Camp last summer and attended multiple Clemson games last season, including the Tigers’ rivalry rout of South Carolina in November.

Saturday’s visit afforded him the opportunity to tour Clemson’s completed football operations facility for the first time.
