Tyler Venables enrolled at Clemson back in January 2020. Fast forward to the present, and the veteran safety is now preparing for his sixth and final season with the Tigers in 2025.
Over his five-year college career to this point, Venables has played in 50 games, tallying 114 tackles (6.5 for loss), a sack, an interception and eight pass breakups across 876 defensive snaps.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder has dealt with multiple injuries during his career, and two years ago, he rehabbed from a hip injury for much of the 2023 season but served in a student coach capacity – a role befitting the son of former Clemson defensive coordinator and current Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables.
