CLEMSON — While multiple Clemson pitchers will miss the start of the season due to injuries, the Tigers will also be without one for another reason.
After being arrested last month on misdemeanor charges for an altercation at a local downtown bar, transfer pitcher Ariston Veasey will also miss the start of the season.
While Erik Bakich did not say Veasey had been suspended, the head coach did reveal the right-handed hurler is going to miss some time.
“It’s like parenting,” Bakich said on Tuesday. “Kids make mistakes, you don’t love them any less. You just own it, and you move on.
