One of the top players in the state of Texas is close to making a decision and Clemson is in the final three.
Highly touted 4-star safety Andrew Mukuba (5-11 181) of Austin (TX) LBJ said Sunday night he has a top three of Clemson, LSU and Texas. Mukuba has not yet visited Clemson or LSU. He lives 15 minutes from the Texas campus so he’s made multiple trips there. He wants to make his decision before his season starts in September, so it’s not likely he’ll visit Clemson or LSU before that.
Mukuba has been in regular contact with Clemson recruiters Brent Venables and Mickey Conn, so he’s learned a lot about the program from those conversations as well as from what he’s seen on television and social media.
