Clemson is aiming to add a safety to its 2018 class on Wednesday, National Signing Day.

The safety prospect the Tigers have made a late push for ahead of signing day is Tucker (Ga.)’s Trevon Flowers.

The Tigers began communicating with Flowers the weekend before last. Last Wednesday, Flowers received an offer from Clemson when head coach Dabo Swinney, safeties coach Mickey Conn and a couple of other assistants stopped by his school.

Clemson then brought Flowers on campus for an official visit, which began Wednesday afternoon and concluded Friday around noon.

TCI caught up with Flowers, who said the visit went very well.
