CLEMSON – McWhorter Stadium roared as Clemson’s Maddie Moore launched a three-run homer to take a lead over the Boston College Eagles in the Tigers’ 8-4 victory Friday.
After the Tigers trailed for three innings, four hits in the fourth, including Moore’s go-ahead shot, secured Clemson’s eighth consecutive win and sixth ACC series victory in a row.
Two innings after Moore’s offensive outburst, a double, two singles, and a home run from pitcher Macey Cintron secured the final 8-3 score.
For two innings, the Tigers (37-11, 16-4 ACC) struggled to find footing in the circle and at the plate.
