Tigers hang on to Beat Cincinnati

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Dillon Hunter made two free throws with 3.9 seconds to play, as Clemson held on for a 68-65 victory over Cincinnati at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C.

Hunter scored 10 points and was 5-for-6 from the foul line, including 4-for-4 in the last seven seconds. Day Day Thomas’ Hail Mary at the horn drew the back of the rim.

Clemson opened Sunday’s game against Cincinnati by scoring the first 14 points and led by as many as 27 points in the first 17 minutes of the game. But the Bearcats chipped away and nearly came back.
