Tigers Blank Paladins 8-0

The Clemson Tigers baseball team shut out their 3rd straight opponent for the first time since 1992. On Military Appreciation Night Tyler Jackson, Ryan Miller, and Mitchell Miller held Furman to 5 hits in an 8-0 win for the Tigers. Graduate-transfer Weston Jackson had a phenomenal night against the Paladins. Jackson got things going with a double to score the first run for the Tigers in the 3rd inning. Jackson would also rip a solo homer in the sixth and a 3 run shot in the seventh in route to the Tiger win. Seth Beer wouldn’t let Jackson have all the fun, as he launched an eight inning homer over the Cajun Cafe to make give the Tigers their 8th and final run of the game.
