Recruiting can be a whirlwind of an experience for some high school prospects.
Such is the case for three-star running back CJ Givers (Fellowship Christian, Roswell, GA). The 5-foot-10, 195-pound now has more than 30 offers and he is getting serious looks from several big boy football programs. Since the beginning of the year, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Florida have offered. Georgia Tech, Wisconsin, NC State, SMU and Indiana are just a few of his other offers.
While Clemson hasn’t offered, Givers is certainly on the Tigers’ radar. He’s visited in the past and running backs coach CJ Spiller visited Givers back in January during the contact period, a meeting that lasted more than 90 minutes.
