Clemson’s head coach had to stay up to watch former Clemson stars Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in a thrilling Monday Night Football matchup.
“I was trying to go to sleep, and I couldn’t go to sleep,” Swinney said during his weekly Tuesday press conference. “I was so happy for Trevor. Just awesome. I hate it for Andy Reid because I love Andy Reid, too. It’s a long trip home when you lose a tough game like that.
