CLEMSON — Dabo Swinney was in the middle of an interview with former ACCN analyst Eric Mac Lain on Wednesday when he received a text message from a friend about an article that basically said the Clemson coach “Predicts this year’s team to go 16-0.”
Swinney quickly showed the message to Ross Taylor, Clemson Football’s head of communications, and asked, “What are they talking about?”
“That is the most click-bait bull crap that I have ever seen in my life,” Swinney said after practice on Wednesday. “You talk about taking something out of context. I have no idea who wrote it.
