Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney held his weekly Tuesday press conference ahead of Saturday’s game against Troy.
Swinney gave an injury update on starting safety Khalil Barnes, who left last Saturday’s game against LSU with an injury and did not return. Barnes went down on the field late in the second quarter after extending and almost nabbing an interception. He dropped down and called for trainers shortly after the play before walking off the field under his own power.
On Tuesday, Swinney said that like star wide receiver Antonio Williams, Barnes is day-to-day heading into the Troy game.
