Swinney Gives Injury Update on Klubnik

After Clemson’s 24-10 win over Florida State last Saturday night, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney mentioned that starting quarterback Cade Klubnik was battling a quad contusion leading up to the game against the Seminoles — and not the ankle injury that he suffered at Boston College on Oct. 11, which caused him to miss the SMU game one week later.

During his weekly Tuesday press conference ahead of Friday night’s game at Louisville, Swinney gave the latest injury update on Klubnik when asked how much he’s been able to practice this week with the quad injury, which he suffered in the game against Duke on Nov.
